The Hon George Lopes is a qualified Chartered Surveyor and has been a director of Christies International, the fine arts auctioneers.  He lives in the South Hams where his family farms, and also has extensive interests in Sutherland, Scotland. 

George is a Trustee of the Lord Barnby Foundation.

The Rt Hon Lord John Burnett is a consultant for Stephens & Scown solicitors, and former Liberal Democrat MP for West Devon & Torridge.
While sitting as an MP John played a vital role in the formulation of the Finance Bill and was for many years the Liberal Democrat spokesperson for finance.

Dr Mark Porter is a GP in Gloucestershire and one of the most experienced media medics in the UK. He presents Case Notes on Radio 4, was Health Editor at the Radio Times for 10 years and has been a regular on television, including 3 years presenting BBC 1’s flagship consumer health programme, Watchdog Healthcheck. He is also a prolific writer, with columns in the London Evening Standard, Sainsbury’s and Weightwatchers magazines.
Mark spent 5 years in a variety of hospital specialities before moving into General Practice in 1990. He was awarded an MBE in 2005 for his services to medicine.

Antony Worrall Thompson is a restaurateur and one of the most familiar and popular TV chefs.  He has won the Mouton Rothschild Menu Competition and the Meilleur Ouvrier de Grande Bretagne (MOGB) – the chef’s Oscar.  His neighbourhood restaurant Notting Grill in Holland Park, which specialises in organic meat, fish and vegetables, was so popular, he repeated this success around London with the Kew Grill, Barnes Grill and Windsor Grill. 
Antony is also a prolific cookery book writer.  He is passionate about organic farming and grows many herbs and vegetables for his restaurant.
